IOT SUMMER SCHOOL

Digitalization is the challenge of the future for all companies. During 2017’s Summer School from July 17-21 at Technikum Vienna Students retrofitted used skill cranes transforming them to “skill cranes 4.0”. The students were supported by ESR Pollmeier Servo-Antriebstechnik and Software Factory. Following the slogan “realizing digitalization”, the students demonstarted how existing production lines can be digitalized using the IoT platform ThingWorx.
