Climate change requires companies in particular to rethink their approach. Industry is one of the largest sources of CO2 emissions.
In order to drastically reduce these emissions, a number of important partners from industry and research have joined forces in the CliCE – DiPP research project. Together they are developing a digital CO2 product passport that contains all relevant sustainability and energy data. In addition to providing an overview of the specific CO2 footprint, the product passport also makes it possible to optimize the production process in terms of energy and resource consumption – across the entire value chain.
Software Factory is supporting the project partner LORENZ GmbH & Co. KG in a subcontract within the CliCE – DiPP research project to develop a digital product passport with an integrated Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) for digital wireless residential water meters.
